And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Whether ushering, greeting worshipers, reading the Epistles at the lectern, helping with the food pantry, being a part of our Prayer Partners prayer chain, or bringing a dish to share for the Fellowship Sunday brunches, Resurrection is a congregation active in service to the Lord. Together we serve and share thru our events and activities.
Always held in our Fellowship Hall on the 5th

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God
1 Corinthians 10:31
We operate a food pantry that is open to anyone from the local community who has fallen on hard times. We distribute perishable and non-perishable foods items to the needy on the last Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. We welcome our members to help support our efforts to aid people that are experiencing hard times with their food donations as well as volunteering to help with organization and distribution each month.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. Matthew 25:35
Our monthly fellowship breakfast is held on the last Tuesday of each month. We meet at 9 AM at a local
restaurant to be named. Call the office for details. Also please let us know by Monday, if you plan to
attend so we can make enough reservations.
The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad!
Psalm 126:3
We lovingly support our church members, our friends, our community with our prayers when urgent prayers may be needed. A request can be made by calling the church office, or our Pastor. An automated call is initiated via our call-multiplier service requesting prayers from our church prayer partners group to hold up our fellow brothers and sisters to the Lord in prayer. You can make any routine prayer requests to the office and ask that our Pastor include them in our weekly Sunday service as well.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you

Every summer we hold an annual old fashion Church Picnic with members manning the grills, baking the cookies and desserts, followed by White Elephant Bingo, and traditional outside summer games like egg tossing and water balloons. Old fashion fun in the sun for all ages!
Clap your hands, all you nations; Shout to God with cries of joy. Psalm 47:1
This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Resurrection’s Men’s Dart Ball Team competes against the other Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches in the area from September thru March each year. Games begin at 7:00PM every Tuesday. Locations of weekly games rotate thru the various congregations in the local league. The Resurrection Team won the 2022/2023 DartBall Mid-Season Tournament. Yeah Team! Let’s do it again!
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24
We support Mission Outreach globally thru our Mite Box offerings to LWML/Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League/Society of the Cross. We also collect for any special mission needs that may arise like natural disasters and special projects when they are needed.

We support our local comfort dogs and their special ministry in every way we can, as they travel to provide comfort to people suffering from traumatic events and natural disasters across the country. We are so pleased that our local comfort dog, Jael and her handler often come to the monthly food pantry distribution. Everyone is delighted when she comes to greet the folks picking up some food!

Caring family of faith. Loving atmosphere reaching out to everyone, neighboring community (food
pantry) Occasional gatherings to nourish our bodies and souls.

What I like about Resurrection is that it’s like a family – no cliques here!
- KL
Everybody really cares about each other and supports one another and that’s rare these days.
- AN
We transferred here a couple of years ago, and from day one we felt extremely welcomed. Everyone was
so nice, friendly and happy for us to be here. It’s a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
- MK
It’s a pleasure to come and worship where everyone is so nice. Also I know that the true Word of God will be preached.
"When my wife and I first attended service at this church we were delighted to find that it is such a friendly and welcoming group of people. We wanted a church that was Bible based. This was the first church we visited when we moved into the area from Illinois in 2014 and felt right at home immediately. We just happened to attend on a Sunday when they were having brunch after the service. That was a wonderful experience and we made several new friends. We have been there ever since."
